Sunday isn't just the day before Monday. Done right, it's the reset that makes the rest of your week easier. Here's a self-care Sunday routine that actually works, no 47-step process required.
Morning: Move First
Start with movement before your phone. Even 20 to 30 minutes of a walk, a yoga flow or a light workout sets the tone for the day, clears your head and gets your blood flowing.
Wear something that feels good. The right activewear is part of the ritual.
Mid-Morning: Skin Reset
Sunday is the day to go a little deeper with skincare. Cleanse, follow with a brightening serum, and if you have time, add a sheet mask. Your skin has been through a week of sweat, sun and stress.
While your mask works, draw a bath with mineral bath salts: lavender for calm, rose for a little luxury. A warm soak is also a great way to relax sore muscles after a hard week of training.
Afternoon: Nourish & Plan
Cook something real. Meal prep if that's your thing. Drink plenty of water. Then spend 15 minutes planning your week, including your workouts. Not obsessively, just enough to feel prepared and calmer going into Monday.
Evening: Wind Down With Intention
Dim the lights. Put your phone in another room. Choose a calming scent like lavender or vanilla. Do your evening skincare. Get into bed a little earlier than usual. A sleep mask helps if your room isn't fully dark.
Sleep is the most underrated performance tool you have. Protect it.
The Rule: Protect Your Sunday
Say no to things that drain you. Say yes to things that restore you. Your Sunday is an investment in every other day of your week.
